Florent Serfati, known artistically as “Flow,” is a French photographer working between Paris and Mexico — the place where he first encountered photography and began shaping his distinctive visual voice.

Initially focused on landscapes and portraits, Flow’s practice quickly evolved towards documentary and conceptual approaches. His images are often imbued with poetic sensitivity and emotional depth, which has earned him several international recognitions, notably in infrared landscape, portrait, and documentary photography.

Following four years as a Fujifilm ambassador and his return to France in 2024, Flow’s work has taken a more introspective and personal turn, moving at times away from technical precision to explore emotional clarity and narrative depth.

His photographic style reflects a duality: between two continents, between aesthetics and narrative, and between the sharp clarity of observation and the ambiguity of memory. This duality is also anchored in his personal life; his work is intimately tied to his journey with his wife, Marena, whose presence informs and strengthens his evolving artistic identity.

Today, Flow’s images continue to explore the boundaries between presence and absence, place and feeling, documentary and dream—always grounded in a sincere curiosity for the human experience and the quiet power of light.
